VOLUNTEERING

Our Community Centre was created through voluntary efforts, and volunteers still play a vital part in all areas of its operation. The Centre is a busy place and we are always eager to welcome new volunteers to help us.

There are many different ways to become involved in the Centre, including: 

  • Trustees

  • Gardening helpers

  • Maintenance team

  • Fundraising (see below)

FUNDRAISING

We receive no public funding for the running of our Community Centre, so operational costs have to be covered by the income received from hirers.  When it comes to renewing and improving the facilities, however, we depend heavily on fundraising, donations and legacies.

We welcome donations from companies, clubs and individuals.

Please get in touch (via the form above) if you would like to get involved in fundraising activities for the Centre or if you are interested in making a donation, whether it be money, objects, time, materials or skills.
